1. Check AirPods Battery
One of the first things that you should check is your AirPods battery. Often one of your AirPods battery drains faster than the other. It usually happens with aging pair of AirPods. Or this could happen because of using the noise cancelation feature on one AirPod and another one for voice calls.
However, below are the steps that you can follow to check the battery status of your AirPods:
At first, go to the iOS control panel and tap on the icon located at the top-right corner of the Music card.
Next, you will be able to check your battery percentage. And if one of the AirPods stops working due to a low battery, the other AirPod’s battery will be shown.
In such a case, put both of your AirPods in the charging case and charge it well. After that, connect the AirPods again and see if it has fixed the issue for you or not.
2. Forget Device and Re-Pair Your AirPods
You can also try re-pairing your AirPods to fix the issue. For this, you will need to first forget device from the Bluetooth devices list on your iPhone or iPad. To help you out, here are the steps that you have to follow:
Go to Settings > Bluetooth > tap on the “I” icon next to connected AirPods. Finally, scroll down and tap on Forget This Device, and you are good to go.
Once you are done with that, you need to re-pair your AirPods. So put both of the AirPods back in the charging case. Then open the Lid and press the physical button on the back of the case for a few seconds to enter pairing mode.

3. Reset Your AirPods
You can also try resetting your AirPods. So for this, you will need to forget your device as you did in the above method and put your AirPods back into the charging case.
After that, open the Lid and press down the button placed on the back of the case for 15 seconds. Once the LED light starts flashing, you will need to go through the initial setup process and check if both of the AirPods are working properly.
4. Reset network settings
The last thing that you can try out is to reset your network settings. As there are times when the issue is not with your AirPods. But the issue can appear with your iPhone too. So if you have multiple Bluetooth devices, there is a high chance you might be facing a connectivity issue.
For this, you can consider resetting the network settings on your iPhone so that you can get them working as it should.
However, by doing so, you will lose all your saved Bluetooth devices on your iPhone. Hence, you will need to repair the devices. Even your saved Wi-Fi networks and passwords will also go deleted.
To reset your network settings, go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings, and you are good to go.
